About us

I first qualified as a HCPC registered chiropodist in 2001, previously known as state registered. I started my chiropody career as a Domiciliary practice, based in London, alongside this I was employed in Romford, Essex in a surgery-based role. I was there for 3 years then the premises were being sold and the decision was made not to re-open. This is where I took the plunge to become a sole trader.

This coincided with our relocation to the West Midlands as a family. Shortly after our move I was approached to purchase a domiciliary practise in Aldridge in 2006. We decided as a family this would work well for us having two young sons, Alex aged 7 and Eyosif aged 2. In the school holidays our children were made very welcome into our patients homes so I could continue working. Some patients offered free childcare and would take them out for the day. Without our patients being so kind and welcoming it would not have been easy. For this we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. I will especially remember how welcome I was made to feel from day one of our new family venture. Sadly, some of our treasured patients are no longer with us but we are left with very fond memories of them.

[read_more id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”] In 2009, there was a huge increase in demand for our chiropody services due to patient’s recommendations and word of mouth. The only way we were able to offer more appointments was for me to become surgery based. This is when we decided to get our first property in Aldridge, on Walsall Wood Road. Our business went from strength to strength, we employed a new HCPC registered Chiropodist. Not long after Alex joined our family business, and in May 2020 he graduated from the University of Worcester with a BSc in Sports Therapy with honours. As a family we are so proud.

During lockdown we took the decision that I would train as a yoga teacher. I started the course in March 2020, and I graduated with the Yoga Alliance Professional in March 2021, as a Hatha Yoga teacher. I have continued to train and qualify in Yin Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga for Menopause.

At the end of 2023, we decided as a family to expand our business further and renamed ourselves ‘Aldridge Well-Being’ and relocated to a new (now refurbished!) premises just off Leighswood Road in Aldridge. It was at this point that Eyosif joined us to pursue Business Management. We truly are a family business!

The health care services we provide now include HCPC Chiropody/Podiatry, Orthotics, STO Sports Therapy, Cryotherapy, Ear Wax Removal, Reflexology, IV drips, Lymphatic massage, Steroid injections.

Keep fit classes include Hatha and Yin Toga, Pilates, Move it or Lose it, Bootcamp, Belly Dancing, Zumba, Indoor and Outdoor Bowling, and Boules

We now also offer room hire and host such events as Greek Nights, Tribute Evenings, Charity Events, Weddings, Wakes and other private functions.

Our café is open Tuesday – Thursday 10.00 am – 2.00 pm. Offering freshly prepared and home made food !
