Came here last Saturday to see Tina turner tribute, the drinks prices are absurd £6 for a pint of ale £3.50 for a tin of cider, also the guy who runs this place has attitude problems, I spoke to him about the drinks prices and he said they are reasonable? He got angry when I disagreed so I left it at that, I won’t be coming back at these
prices, I bought a tin of beer in with me the size of a coke can from Wetherspoons, I wasn’t challenged on numerous occasions it was once and we were already buying your drinks, my wife had a cocktail at £7,50 which was like a glass of orange squash, and the aggressive man who challenged me once said it was reasonable?

and if you did you'd be asked to leave or probably thrown out.
Des, Olga and the team put some brilliant events on which are usually around the £20 mark , great acts and bands, themed nights usually with great food .To moan about the price of a beer is just petty. The Aspalls cider is cheaper there than anywhere else in Aldridge.
As for Des being aggressive, you really are talking about the wrong bloke but when someone is taking their own cheap booze in and hiding the empties in the loo he has every right to call them out.
As a venue and as hosts it's the best place in Aldridge for a great CHEEP night out !

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I to was at this venue for a fantastic Tina turner tribute. The value for money is just above and beyond. £20 for the entertainment and food included. Entertainment is a tribute act but the very best, Tina turner was phenomenal. Food is fish and chips unless dietary requirements. This is a family run business and have done so much for the local community and charity events.
Previous review by Gary I strongly disagree with. It’s a small family run business and bar prices reflect that, not pricey at all you obviously don’t go to many places , it’s not Wetherspoon prices no but on par with every other hospitality venues in the area. Entertainment, food and drinks it’s worth every single penny

About us

I first qualified as a HCPC registered chiropodist in 2001, previously known as state registered. I started my chiropody career as a Domiciliary practice, based in London, alongside this I was employed in Romford, Essex in a surgery-based role. I was there for 3 years then the premises were being sold and the decision was made not to re-open. This is where I took the plunge to become a sole trader.

This coincided with our relocation to the West Midlands as a family. Shortly after our move I was approached to purchase a domiciliary practise in Aldridge in 2006. We decided as a family this would work well for us having two young sons, Alex aged 7 and Eyosif aged 2. In the school holidays our children were made very welcome into our patients homes so I could continue working. Some patients offered free childcare and would take them out for the day. Without our patients being so kind and welcoming it would not have been easy. For this we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. I will especially remember how welcome I was made to feel from day one of our new family venture. Sadly, some of our treasured patients are no longer with us but we are left with very fond memories of them.

[read_more id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”] In 2009, there was a huge increase in demand for our chiropody services due to patient’s recommendations and word of mouth. The only way we were able to offer more appointments was for me to become surgery based. This is when we decided to get our first property in Aldridge, on Walsall Wood Road. Our business went from strength to strength, we employed a new HCPC registered Chiropodist. Not long after Alex joined our family business, and in May 2020 he graduated from the University of Worcester with a BSc in Sports Therapy with honours. As a family we are so proud.

During lockdown we took the decision that I would train as a yoga teacher. I started the course in March 2020, and I graduated with the Yoga Alliance Professional in March 2021, as a Hatha Yoga teacher. I have continued to train and qualify in Yin Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga for Menopause.

At the end of 2023, we decided as a family to expand our business further and renamed ourselves ‘Aldridge Well-Being’ and relocated to a new (now refurbished!) premises just off Leighswood Road in Aldridge. It was at this point that Eyosif joined us to pursue Business Management. We truly are a family business!

The health care services we provide now include HCPC Chiropody/Podiatry, Orthotics, STO Sports Therapy, Cryotherapy, Ear Wax Removal, Reflexology, IV drips, Lymphatic massage, Steroid injections.

Keep fit classes include Hatha and Yin Toga, Pilates, Move it or Lose it, Bootcamp, Belly Dancing, Zumba, Indoor and Outdoor Bowling, and Boules

We now also offer room hire and host such events as Greek Nights, Tribute Evenings, Charity Events, Weddings, Wakes and other private functions.

Our café is open Tuesday – Thursday 10.00 am – 2.00 pm. Offering freshly prepared and home made food !

We continue to maintain our professional and friendly service as we have throughout, and We cannot thank our patients enough for the help and support you all continue to give us.
